Speaking to the Scandinavian fan club during an interactive session on Monday, former Manchester United manager Solskjaer revealed that he was genuinely delighted with the growth and progress of rising star Amade, and spoke highly of Amade's professional attitude and talent. However, a report in the Manchester Evening News revealed a little-known truth: Solskjaer was not the central driver in bringing Ahmad to United.

Solskjaer thrilled the exchange by saying, "Ahmad, the young talent, he deserves all this from his tireless work and taking his chances. Not only is he physically stronger and faster, but his talent is obvious." These words are certainly a great testament to Amad's hard work and talent.

However, Solskjaer's role in the transfer of Amad was far less significant than fans might have thought. Although Solskjaer reportedly agreed to the deal before it was finalized, he wasn't the key figure behind the push for Amad to join the club. In fact, the transfer plan was quietly initiated long before Solskjaer took over.

The Manchester Evening News further revealed that United's director of soccer John Murtaugh only started his official duties six months after the Amad deal was finalized, but he had secretly traveled to Italy to do a lot of preliminary work before the deal was struck. Murtaugh's crucial role in bringing Amad to United cannot be overlooked.

Although United's recruitment strategy still needs to be perfected under Murtaugh's leadership, he has been able to capture the occasional successful deal. The signing of Ahmad is one such example, which fully demonstrates Murtaugh's precise vision and keen judgment in the transfer market.
