Brentford suffered a 1-2 defeat to Chelsea in the 16th round of the Premier League, but their manager Thomas Frank had a lot to say about his team's performance, believing that the draw was well deserved.

Frank began by praising the players' fighting spirit: "I am extremely satisfied with the team's performance. The players gave it their all and had a thrilling battle with the superb Chelsea. Chelsea's players are very talented, they have invested a lot in reinforcements, and their coaching team is also very strong."

Despite not being able to make the comeback, Frank felt that his team showed more fight in the second half and even came close to equalizing: "We were much better in the second half and created a lot of scoring chances. We hit the crossbar and had a few threatening shots. I think the draw was the reward the team deserved."

Frank also pointed out that Brentford put Chelsea under a lot of pressure, as evidenced by the reaction of their opponents, "It's not an empty claim that we're the powerhouse in the league and Chelsea are the favorites to win the title. From today's game, we are fully capable of taking on any top team."

He further analyzed that Chelsea's squad has changed drastically since the last time Brentford won at home: "If you look back to the last time we won here, Chelsea didn't have a single player left in their squad today. Now, they've built a new, strong squad."

Finally, Frank paid tribute to Chelsea and believes that his team still has a chance to win the game: "The way Chelsea celebrated showed the respect for us, this is a team with professionalism. We may still have a chance to win the game, but we also need to continue to work hard and improve our performance."
