Last night, the 16th round of the Premier League came to a close with Arsenal battling Everton at home, eventually shaking hands with a score of 0-0. After the game, Arsenal coach Arteta revealed his helplessness about the result in the official media interview, and analyzed the team's overall performance in detail.

Arteta said bluntly, "The result of this draw is doubly disappointing for us, because we really showed a much better game. Apart from failing to break through, we did almost everything we needed to do in the game. We conceded zero goals, controlled the tempo of the game, and limited the opponent's attacking space. It was frustrating to create several great scoring chances and then fail to capitalize on them. The opposition gained a point in this manner and we failed to win what we deserved despite giving it our all."

He went on to note: "In those decisive moments, we needed to be more composed and put in more effort. Our defense, high press, and control of the game were all quite good, but unfortunately, those efforts did not translate into a win. The players were determined to win and everyone did their best, but the result was not good."

As to whether fatigue was the cause of the lost points, Arteta responded in the negative. He argued, "We are one of the best performing teams in the world when we need to drop back and defend. It wasn't a question of fitness, but of the players' desire to win and their level of effort. Every player went into the game with a winning mentality and we tried every possible way to win the game, but in the end we still couldn't get the points we wanted. We have to move on and get ready for the next game."
