Fulham shook hands with Liverpool 2-2 away from home in the 16th round of Premier League action this evening. After the match, Robinson dissected the mindset behind the draw in his Made in the Premier League interview.

Robinson was outspoken in expressing his regret over the outcome of the game, "We opened up a one-goal lead and with an extra man in the game, we deserved to have the last laugh. However, mixed emotions are intertwined because we had the chance to win this."

Speaking about the challenge of having an opponent with one man less, Robinson lamented, "Luckily they were missing a player, which gave us a real test. We should have utilized our numerical advantage more effectively, however, the reality is that we didn't quite do that in the game. Looking back to a few seasons ago, away at Manchester City, we were in a similar predicament when we were overpowered, and the same is true today, we could have done better."

Robinson was slightly bemused by some of the controversial penalties in the game, "We felt that Tait suffered a foul before conceding the goal but the referee failed to make a call, which made us feel frustrated during the game. However, we must admit that Liverpool continued to perform well for most of the game, even with only 10 men."

Robinson also pointed out Fulham's difficulties in defensive transitions, "We tended to struggle to launch quality counter-attacks quickly after defending. Liverpool players were physically strong and pulled our strikers down frequently while defending and the referee didn't punish them harshly, which affected our attacking tempo to a certain extent."

Despite his disappointment with the result, Robinson recognized the team's overall performance: "I gave it my all on and off the field, and overall the team performed better this year than last. We had many chances to win the game, but the beauty of soccer is that sometimes the result doesn't depend entirely on your performance. We will continue to work hard and try to get better results in the upcoming matches."
