In a recent column in 'the daily briefing', Italian soccer journalist Romano gave an in-depth analysis of Crystal Palace star Gueye's rumored transfer. He revealed that Gueye's outstanding performance in the Europa League has made him a coveted target for a number of top clubs in Europe.
According to Romano, it was further revealed that Liverpool, Newcastle and other prominent giants have been in contact with Gueye's team during this summer transfer window, however, as of now, the matter of Gueye's transfer remains under wraps. Romano emphasized that he is not Gueye's spokesperson and therefore cannot reveal the player's specific thoughts on the future.
Speaking about Gueye's current status, Romano said that Gueye will be fully committed to the Crystal Palace game this season. Although the future is full of uncertainties, Gueye has not shown a strong will to leave the team, so it can be expected that he has not yet made a final choice between Liverpool and Newcastle.
