In a recent interview, Jaksson revealed the twists and turns that led to his expected move from Villarreal to Aston Villa at the start of 2023, only for the move to fall through due to injury.

"After coach Emery left Villarreal, he desperately wanted me to join Aston Villa with him. It was a dream opportunity for me, but at that time, I had the misfortune to get injured. I was really looking forward to the transfer because the coach came to talk to me personally and it was a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity. But unfortunately, I suffered a hamstring injury which complicated the situation immensely." Jacquesson recalled.

"To determine the extent of my injury, we went to Villa for a medical examination. But their medical team told me that I would need at least a month of recovery. And they expected me to be back in just a week or two. Obviously, I wasn't ready yet, so the deal had to be canceled and I had to return to Villarreal with regret." He continued.

Facing this unrealized transfer, Jaksson said, "I returned to Villarreal with anger in my heart, but it wasn't because I didn't join Villa. I was angry because injuries made me miss the opportunity. However, on the plane, I said to my friends: 'Don't worry, good things will come, that's life.' I told myself to stay positive and wait for the day when I recover and return to the team."

Fortunately, Jacobsson recovered from his injury and quickly found his form, scoring 12 goals in two months and displaying amazing attacking talent. He said, "After that, I understood what I wanted to become. I focused more on training and playing and tried to improve myself."

Now, Jaksson has joined Chelsea, a top club. He admits: "Chelsea is a different club, where there is a lot of pressure and higher expectations. But after a period of adaptation and hard work, I feel good now. After many games, I have gained more experience and am more confident for the challenges ahead."
