In a recent column in 'the daily briefing', Italian soccer journalist Romano gave an in-depth analysis of Crystal Palace star Gueye's move. He revealed that Gueye's stunning performance in the Europa League has made him a target for a number of top clubs in Europe.
It has been reported that top clubs such as Liverpool and Newcastle United have been in contact with Gueye's team this summer, however, as of yet, the transfer rumors have not been settled. Romano made it a point to emphasize that he is not an advocate for Gueye and therefore cannot reveal the player's specific considerations for his future destination.
Speaking about Gueye's current situation, Romano has said outright that he will remain committed to Crystal Palace this season. Despite the uncertainty of the future, Gueye is not actively looking for a move at the moment, suggesting that he has yet to make a decision between Liverpool and Newcastle United.
