All-Juve reporter Mirko Di Natale has revealed that despite Juventus' strong bid for Bournemouth center-back and Argentina international Senesi, however, the defensive stalwart plans to stick to the Bournemouth camp in the winter transfer window.
The 27-year-old Senesi, who started his career in San Lorenzo, Argentina, moved from Feyenoord in the Netherlands to Bournemouth in England in the summer of 2022 for a fee of 15 million euros, and has quickly risen to become the centerpiece of the team's back line. Today, his valuation on the German transfer market has soared to €22 million.
Despite Juventus' recent rising attraction to Senesi, according to Mirko Di Natale, Senesi's deal with Bournemouth does not expire until 2026 and he himself has no intention of leaving in the winter transfer window. For Juventus, this means that it will be difficult to recruit the Argentine center-back anytime soon.
Juventus suffered this blow, and with the winter transfer window looming, the team desperately needs to strengthen its backline for the upcoming tournament. However, Senesi's choice to stay has left Juventus with a bottleneck in terms of reinforcements.
Nevertheless, Juventus are not giving up lightly. They will continue to keep an eye on Senesi and look for the right time to restart the pursuit of the Argentine center back. At the same time, the team will also actively look for other targets to ensure the solidity and strength of the backline.
