In an interview, renowned veteran Ferdinand said that Liverpool is one of the top contenders for the Champions League this season. Looking back at recent matches, Liverpool have won all six of their matches, beating Girona in the group stage of the Champions League.
Facing the question, Ferdinand responded: "According to Liverpool's current situation, they are undoubtedly a strong contender to win the title. But as we said, there is still a long way to go in the season, and the variables are still there. So at this stage, it's not right for us to make a premature conclusion."
Ferdinand continued his analysis, "Looking ahead, the team's form may change drastically between March and April next year. Therefore, we need to stay calm and keep a close eye on the team's performance in subsequent matches."
Speaking of Liverpool's future, Ferdinand was confident: "Liverpool have all the right conditions to win the title this season, they have excellent players and tactical layout. But the key is that they need to make sure that they maintain the best physical and mental condition in the season's sprint phase, in order to truly lock the title."
