The Chinese Football Association (CFA) released a new policy on foreign aid for the new season, changing the pattern of the past, but also liberalizing the commercial naming rights of the first team and youth teams at all levels, but also breaking down geographical barriers. This initiative is undoubtedly a complete reversal of the Chen Xuyuan era, the new season of the Chinese Super League will usher in a series of new variables.

Looking back, Chen Xuyuan in charge of the Football Association period, a series of policies, but failed to solve the difficulties of the Super League. Now, Song Kai is at the helm, the Association's policy wind direction has changed.

The new policy first stipulates that Chinese Super League teams can register up to seven foreign players, but only five can be registered for each game, and no more than five can actually play. This is undoubtedly a great benefit for the rich and powerful clubs, while for the cash-strapped teams, the competitiveness may be damaged as a result.

Secondly, the introduction of the Chinese Football Association's (CFA) regulations on the management of professional club and team names allows professional clubs to seek first-team and ladder team naming partnerships for the 2024 to 2028 seasons while maintaining neutral names. This major adjustment by the FA aims to aid struggling clubs and pave the way for the league's long-term development.

The latest document of the Football Association also pointed out that clubs can apply for a change of registered address to achieve off-site registration. Once successful, the next five years, in principle, shall not apply for change again. This move fully reflects the determination of the Football Association to protect the survival of Chinese Super League teams and the league.

It is clear that the CFA is actively seeking solutions to ensure the steady march of the Chinese Super League teams and the league.
