On this special day, Shanghai Harbor Club celebrated its birthday with the maturity of 18 years old.
On December 25, 2005, Shanghai Dongya FC started its soccer journey as a newcomer to the professional league. The following year, it entered the professional league as a newcomer, and in 2007, it won the title of the Chinese League B. In 2012, it even stood out with its strength and successfully joined the ranks of the Chinese Super League.
The turnaround came at the tail end of 2014, when Shanghai SIPG took over the baton of the club's development, not only overhauling it, but also renaming it Shanghai SIPG.In 2018, Shanghai SIPG added to the club's history by locking up the Chinese Super League title a round early with a sweeping victory.
In 2021, Shanghai SIPG FC embarked on another journey, renamed Shanghai Harbour FC. In 2023, they lived up to the expectations and won the second Chinese Super League trophy in the team's history, writing a new brilliant chapter.
