Former Serbian head coach of Meizhou Hakka Football Club, Milan Ristic, posted a departure statement on his personal social media platforms, marking the end of his relationship with this team.

Thank you for accompanying me through these unforgettable three years, it is your passion and support that makes me feel warm. Since January 2021, Ristic has taken over as the head coach of Meizhou Hakka and successfully brought the team to the Chinese Super League and won the second place in the Central League. Under his leadership, the team achieved the goal of relegation for two consecutive seasons, showing excellent coaching ability.
