In an exciting moment on December 18th, the Croatian soccer world came with heavy news: the Osijek team announced that 27-year-old midfielder Ivan Fioric will step into the Chinese Super League and join Tianjin Jinmen Tigers.

The transfer marks the first official reinforcement of the Chinese Super League in the new season. In a statement released by FC Osijek, it was revealed that Fioric has released his contract with the team and joined Tianjin Teda as a free agent.

Speaking about the move, Fiorici revealed, "I signed a two-year deal with Zim Tigers and will join the team's training on January 3rd. My goal is to stay there longer, even beyond the term of the contract."

At the age of 27, Ivan Fioric, the pride of Croatia, started his career in the youth camp of Dinamo Zagreb and moved through clubs such as Dinamo Zagreb, Lokomotiv Zagreb, Henck, Larnaca, and Krakowija in the course of his career.In the summer of 2021, he moved to Osijek as a free agent. This season, he played 15 matches for Osijek, contributing two goals and one assist. He is currently valued at €850,000 on the market.

At the national team level, Fioric has represented Croatia at all levels, U21 and below, but has never been able to earn a call-up to the adult national team.
