Korean media "Chosun Sports" disclosed that South Korean defender Jang Hyun-soo, a former foreign aid of R&F, played the whole game as the main player of Al Gharafa in the 9th round of Qatar Star League. The feat marked his return to the green field six months after his victory over cancer.
Jang Hyun-soo was diagnosed with a lymphoma in July of this year and immediately began chemotherapy. in September, he announced his victory over the disease, and then ended his four-year journey with Riyadh Crescent.
