In the 28th round of the Chinese Super League (CSL), Shandong Taishan and Changchun Yatai will face each other as scheduled on October 20 at 3:30pm in Beijing. The result of this championship match was highly anticipated as it could determine Shanghai Port's lead. Fans from both sides were so enthusiastic that even supporters of the Port team were not shy about watching this exciting matchup. As the match kicked off, Beijing-based referee Guan Xing's penalty after penalty, especially the two controversial big penalties against Shandong fans, quickly ignited the fans' emotions.

In the 9th minute of the match, Shandong Taishan's Kressan fell down in a scramble, but referee Guan Xing did not immediately blow the foul. Despite the intervention of VAR, Guan Xing insisted that he was not fooled by the opponent.

In the 15th minute, Kressan suffered another infringement, but referee Guan Xing continued to turn a blind eye to it. Ateneo's players escaped two consecutive Kwan Sing penalties in the penalty area, while Moises and Cressan's silent cooperation helped Taishan take a 1-0 lead. By the 26th minute, Moises' precise long pass was easily snatched by Cressan to extend Taishan's lead to 1-0.

Just as the Taishan fans were getting indignant at referee Guan Xing's unfair call, in the 34th minute, Taishan got a long overdue chance to take a penalty. Guan Xing finally blew the whistle for a penalty kick after Trump was shoved down by an Ateneo player. Moises scored a brace to give Taishan a 2-0 lead at half-time. At halftime, a brilliant assist from Chen Pu extended Taishan's lead to 3-0.
