The Chinese Football Association (CFA) released heavy news on April 8, announcing that the 2023 season of the Chinese Super League (CSL) will officially set sail on April 15, and the tournament will run throughout the spring, summer and fall seasons until November 4, when it will come to an end. The detailed schedule for the season was revealed simultaneously, with the Beijing Workers' Stadium taking the spotlight on the night of April 15, when Beijing Guoan will face the Meizhou Hakka team from afar. Meanwhile, the Wuhan Sports Center Stadium will also be the scene of a powerful conversation, where Wuhan Sanzhen will face Shanghai Seaport, with the match scheduled for 7:35 p.m. The new season will see a return to the home-and-away system, which will greatly enhance the viewing experience and give more fans the chance to cheer on their favorite teams. With a total season length of eight months, the matches will be intensive, with the third through sixteenth ranked teams competing in a 21-round, seven-round format. In addition, the league will take a short break in June, September and October, taking into account the needs of the national team to prepare for international matches.

For Wuhan Sanzhen, the first three rounds of the new season will be a tough challenge, as they will face three of the biggest reinforcements of the season: Shanghai Seaport (April 15th), Beijing Guoan (April 20th) and Meizhou Hakka (April 25th). In their pre-season warm-up matches, Wuhan Sanzhen drew with these two strong teams, but it is worth mentioning that Wuhan Sanzhen will face Shanghai Seaport and Beijing Guoan on their home field. After two consecutive home games, they will face Meizhou Hakka on the road. The start of a match is crucial, and a good start will facilitate Wuhan Sanzhen's subsequent matches.
