On March 25th, in the springtime, a big news in the sports world was revealed on the famous platform of "Referee Circle": the referee training lists for the 2023 season of the Chinese Super League and the Chinese League A were officially announced to the public. A total of 90 referees from the two leagues received professional training, including 43 Chinese Super League referees and 47 Chinese League One referees.

The list includes technical and physical instructors, as well as referee supervisors and assistant referees at all levels. These referees will gather in Suzhou, Jiangsu Province between March 29th and April 3rd for a week-long referee training course. It is worth mentioning that the course will also include a grand retirement ceremony for the 10 referees who will be honorably retired in 2022. Among the many referees, 43 referees will be featured in the new Chinese Super League season. There are nine Beijing-based referees, including veterans such as Fu Ming and Guan Xing, as well as this season's newcomer Chen Jindong. Chen Jindong, who used to enforce the law in China's first division, is highly regarded for his promotion to the Chinese Super League. Referees from Guangdong, Shanghai and Changchun are also on the list, with referees such as Manning and Zhang Lei, who are common sights in the Chinese Super League, on the list. Guizhou's Ma Yunkun and Henan's Shan Dan'ao are also noteworthy as new referees who have already gained a wealth of experience in the lower leagues over the past seasons. In the Central League, Beijing has the largest number of referees, with five. Shanghai, Chongqing and Jiangsu also have a significant number of referees. This exhaustive list has injected new vitality into the two-tier league for the new season and brought more expectations to the fans.
