In a Nov. 4 accident, a teenage goalkeeper, Wang Nian, born in 2004, was at risk because of a vacancy in Hebei's goal.

The goalkeeper, Wang Nian, will reportedly be added to the River Plate squad on an emergency basis to fill the void.

Hebei's original goalkeeper Bao Yaxiong was unfortunately injured, and other candidate goalkeepers could not be in place in time due to the epidemic, resulting in the team facing the embarrassing situation of having no goalkeeper available (the team had no choice but to let other positional players make guest appearances previously). After receiving the urgent application from Hebei, the organizing committee of the Chinese Super League quickly convened an emergency meeting with all clubs, and through a democratic voting mechanism, it was unanimously agreed to introduce a young goalkeeper, Wang Nianzhong, as a special case outside of the regular enrollment period. This new recruit will wear the robe symbolizing No. 1. The entire process was open and transparent and strictly followed the relevant rules and regulations.

Additional Info: Bao Yaxiong's injury has added to the woes of Hebei's goal defense, with defender Liu Runnan having to make a temporary cameo as goalkeeper.
