In the 77th minute, Edmilson created a chance for Malcolm, but Zhang Yan parried the ball off the line. Wuhan Sanzhen won consecutive corner kicks but failed to convert them into goals.
In the 84th minute, Deng Zhuoxiang opened the left corner, Malcolm's header from close range was deflected by Zhang Yan.
