In the relegation zone, Guangzhou lost in Jinan and stayed in the bottom three with 12 points. Guangzhou City, despite a draw in Dalian, also reached 12 points and ranked second from bottom, equaling Guangzhou's points. Hebei lost in Haikou and continued to be at the bottom of the table with only three points from 21 matches.
