On October 17, the Vietnam Football Association (VFA) and Park Hang-soo's agency team jointly announced that Park Hang-soo will not renew his contract with the VFA. After five years at the helm of the Vietnam national team, he is about to say goodbye, and according to the Korean media, a number of clubs in our country have shown great interest in him.

Park Hang Suh has taken Vietnamese soccer to unprecedented heights over the past five years and has personally become a national hero in Vietnam. He led his team to the last eight of the Asian Cup, tying Vietnam's best-ever soccer performance, regaining the Suzuki Cup and Southeast Asian Games titles, and defeating our team in the Round of 12 for their historic first win. In addition, he led the Vietnam U23 team to win the runner-up of the 2018 U23 Asian Cup and the quarterfinals of the 2018 Asian Games.

Last year, Park Hang-su had extended his contract with the Vietnam Football Association for one year. This year, he gave up his position as the U23 head coach. Now, at the critical moment of contract renewal, the two sides finally decided not to renew the contract.

In an interview with Korean media, Park Hang-soo revealed, "I made the decision not to renew my contract after discussing it with my family and communicating deeply with my friends."

According to Korean media reports, clubs in South Korea, our country, Singapore and Malaysia are currently interested in inviting Park Heng-su as a coach. Park Heng-su said he will take some time off before starting a brand new soccer journey.
