In a recent interview with Qilu.com, Guo Kanfeng, vice president of Luneng Football School, revealed the school's talent development results over the years.

Data show that in the first phase of the 2022 Chinese Super League (CSL) season, a total of 54 players from Luneng's youth training camp were selected for the rosters of various teams, and these 54 players accounted for as much as 9% of all players in the CSL, and Shandong Luneng Taishan Football Campus has provided a solid guarantee in cultivating outstanding players.

Guo Kanfeng said, "Both in terms of results and talent development, our teams of different age groups have shown excellence. Especially in terms of delivering talent to the country, we have maintained the same level as before, which has been recognized by the club."

"From a campus perspective, the policy of 'building a 100-year football school and nurturing top players' will not waver. Currently, in order to achieve this goal, we are working with a fusion of foreign and local coaches organized together. We are keeping up with the advanced concepts of modern soccer development while finding a path that suits us to better develop players."

"Our Luneng Youth Training Camp has produced numerous players, including national teams and task forces at all levels, but the number of top players is still relatively small. By top players, we mean those who can play a central role in the adult national team, the national Olympic team, and the youth national team, as well as having the strength to compete in the top five leagues, which is our next training goal."

Guo Kanfeng's words revealed his confidence in the future of Luneng Football School, and also expressed his eagerness to improve the level of players.
