In the fifth minute, Fei Yu's corner kick from the left was headed in by Lin Liangming from inside the penalty area and although it was blocked, Shang Yin swept in a goalmouth melee to give Dalian the lead, his third goal of the season.
In the 9th minute, Bugra Khan went past Zhang Chong on consecutive counter-attacks but his overhead cushion shot went over the crossbar when he faced an empty goal.
In the 39th minute, Lv Zhuo Yi headed the ball in the middle of the field, Yan Xianggong stopped the ball on his chest in front of the top of the arc, Lin Liangming then stopped the ball and entered the penalty area, and easily pushed the ball into the goal. Lin Liangming scored consecutive goals, his fifth in the Chinese Super League this season, as Dalian extended their lead to 2-0.
Before the end of the half, Xie Hui received a yellow card for an argument.
In the first minute of half-time extra time, Lin Liangming swung a header from the left side of the penalty area and Yan Xianggong followed up with a crashing shot, but referee Ma Li ruled that Lin Liangming had committed a foul first and the goal was invalid.
In the 82nd minute, Shan Pengfei attempted a superb long range shot which bounced off the post.
