Mutalifu, a 15-year-old boy who set foot in Chengdu from Kashgar, harbors three big dreams: joining the Chengdu team, the national team journey, and the challenge of the top five leagues. The Chengdu Football Association and the Rongcheng Club, like the warmth of home, gave him the care of a traveler. In the face of loneliness and homesickness in a foreign land, his dream became the driving force for him to move forward.
In 2019, at the age of 18 years and 112 days, he left his footprints in the Chinese Super League (CSL), and Hibiscus' first CSL victory witnessed his breakthrough. However, this is just the starting point, he said, "The road is still long, I will cherish every moment and enjoy the happiness that soccer brings me."
Talking about the team's summary during the break, Mutalifu said that he realized that as a young player, he needs to keep learning and accumulating by watching the video of the game. Facing the first match of the Chinese Super League, he revealed that the team's mentality is positive and well-prepared, and despite the unfavorable start, they always believe that the victory will come eventually.
