On April 2, the CFA issued a solution to club salary arrears and penalties, requiring clubs with salary arrears to clear at least 30% of their arrears before July 31, and at the same time to submit signed salary arrears reimbursement forms for the relevant personnel to the CFA before this deadline. Clubs that fail to complete this task on time will face penalties such as point deductions.
According to the Beiqing Daily reported that at noon on July 31, the vast majority of Chinese Super League salary arrears clubs have submitted a salary repayment form or related agreements, the Football Association will be strictly audited to determine which clubs can temporarily "pass".
In order to solve the problem of salary arrears plaguing the soccer professional circle, the FA and the preparatory group of the CFL jointly issued a solution in early April, requiring clubs to settle all salary arrears for the 2021 season and before by the end of the year. To this end, three repayment nodes were set up: July 31, October 31 and December 31, corresponding to a clearing ratio of 30%, 70% and all respectively. Before each node, clubs are required to submit a salary arrears repayment form signed by all personnel.
According to the penalties, clubs that fail to clear 30% of their arrears by July 31 will be banned from registering new players in the second transfer window of the 2022 season and will have three league points deducted; clubs that fail to clear 70% of their arrears by October 31 will have six league points deducted; and clubs that fail to clear all of their arrears by December 31 may face relegation or disqualification from access. The leaders of the FA and the preparatory group of the CFL have repeatedly emphasized that Chinese Super League clubs must strictly implement this program.
On July 31, Guangzhou City FC and all players agreed on a settlement of unpaid wages, and it is reported that they have completed their signatures and are expected to successfully pass the deadline for settling 30% of unpaid wages.
On July 30th, the preparatory group of the CFL announced the schedule of this season's Super League from 11th to 34th rounds and the situation of each round's matchups, and confirmed all the clubs' home stadium arrangements for the next stage of the league and the distribution of match zones. At the same time, the Hebei team also conducted an open training in Langfang City, showing that the Chinese Super League clubs are getting ready for the next league.
It is reported that at noon on July 31, the vast majority of clubs involved in wage arrears have been submitted to the Football Association of the first period of arrears of wages to clear the supporting materials, but ultimately whether through the examination and approval still need to wait. In the meantime, the teams can prepare for the Chinese Super League matches normally.
