With the bell ringing on August 1, the second transfer window of the Chinese Super League has officially opened. Shanghai Seaport, a team with a poor record in the early part of the season, is working non-stop to find new blood to reshape its strength. According to reliable sources, Shanghai Harbor has successfully locked up two new players: Li Shuai, a former Dalian Ren defender, and Isakalon, a striker from Dutch League 1 team Cambuur. It is worth mentioning that both players have completed the termination of their contracts with their former clubs and are now free agents.

Li Shuai, a player who is comfortable on the left side of the field, had joined the Dalian Ren in 2016 and played for six seasons, making 111 appearances and contributing two goals and nine assists. He was selected for the national team and filed an arbitration with the National Football Association last season over unpaid wages. After the arbitration ended, Li Shuai was granted free agency, but due to missing the transfer window, he could only train independently in the first stage of the league. Now joining Harbour, he will significantly strengthen the team's offense and defense on the left side.

At the foreigner level, Seaport has reached an agreement to terminate Muay's contract, with the Australian relinquishing the remainder of his contract to pursue free agency. In the second phase of the league, Muay will no longer play for Harbour. Rumor has it that he may join Scottish Premier League rivals Celtic in preparation for the World Cup in Qatar. Muay lives in Scotland with his wife and it would be ideal for him to play in the Scottish Premier League.

Meanwhile, Seaport has also brought in a new foreign striker, Isakalon. The player from Sierra Leone, who is from the same hometown as Henan striker Toure, played as a left winger for Kumble last season and collected 5 goals and 8 assists. Kallon was a key player for Kumble when they were struggling in the Dutch Eredivisie and helped the team to get promoted. Now that his contract has been terminated, Caron will suit up for Harbour when the league restarts on August 5th.
