On the night of June 4 in the capital, a new prelude to the Chinese Super League unfolded. Shanghai Harbor failed to beat Wuhan Changjiang 0-1 in the first round. In the first half, Xu Xin was shown a red card for a foul during a fierce fight, leaving the Harbor team at a numerical disadvantage and ultimately losing by one goal. Xu Xin was transferred from Shandong Taishan to Shanghai Seaport at the end of April this year, and this was his debut match for his new boss.

During the match, one of Xu Xin's rushes inadvertently stomped on Hu Jinghang, causing the latter's jersey to be torn and fall to the ground in pain, leaving him with blood marks on his arm and waist. After the match, Xu Xin posted an apology to Hu Jinghang on social media, expressing his apologies for the accident as well as his wishes for future matches.

The tournament came to an end, the vice president of the Harbour Club Sun Xiang that night to talk to Xu Xin, hoping that he can adjust his emotions. The team also said that although Xu Xin is already 28 years old, his experience on the field of play is still insufficient.

It is rumored that the Chinese Football Association (CFA) may impose additional penalties on the two red-carded internationals in the clash -- Zheng Zheng and Xu Xin. Meanwhile, Seaport Club may also take Xu Xin's impulsive behavior seriously. (Editor: Liu Shuitu)
