With Chongqing Two Rivers Athletic Salon officially announcing its withdrawal from the Chinese Super League and suspending the team's operations, the future of its players has become the focus of public debate. Beijing Youth Daily reporter revealed that in order to assist these players to solve the problem of re-employment as far as possible, the Chinese Football Association and the preparatory group of the Chinese Football League, after discussion, decided to open a temporary transfer window for the former Chongqing Two Rivers Athletic players. The opening time of this window is initially scheduled for June 3, before the opening of the new season of the Chinese Super League.
On May 24, Chongqing Two Rivers Athletic Salon announced through official channels that it was withdrawing from the Chinese Super League, and the CFA and CFL preparatory team immediately held an emergency meeting to discuss strategies to deal with the situation. After the meeting, the tournament organizers decided to add a team to enter the new season of the Chinese Super League. According to the rules for the addition of salons, Dalian People's Salon, as the "first team to be added", was given the priority to be added. The Salon has also expressed its willingness to be added to the tournament organizers, and the process of addition is currently underway.
While intensely preparing for the new league season, the CFA and the CFF preparatory team have also fully considered the current plight of the former Chongqing Liangjiang Athletic players. In order to help them solve the problem of re-employment, the CFA has begun to formulate a program to open a temporary transfer window for these players, so that they can contact other salons and continue their careers as much as possible. In addition, this year's domestic soccer transfer window ended at the end of April, and domestic salons at all levels are not allowed to bring in a quota of local players. Therefore, it is likely that there will be no quota for the temporary transfer window.
It is reported that the detailed "window" notice is expected to be announced in the next few days. As for the specific settings of the window period, the current plan is to start from the date of release of the notice until June 3, before the opening of the new season of the Chinese Super League ended.
It should be noted that the opening of the temporary transfer window does not mean that all former Chongqing players will be able to find new jobs before the league opens. As Dalian People have confirmed that they will be entering the Chinese Super League on a provisional basis, they will theoretically need to use this transfer window to replenish their squad, and the former Chongqing players may be ideal candidates for the job.
