After 10 days of closed-door training, the Shanghai Shenhua team, led by coach Wu Jingui, started their first practical exercise after their first trip to Dalian at 10:00 a.m. on May 18th at the Dalian People's Football Youth Training Base. The team has thus become the first in the region to start preparations for the new Chinese Super League season.

May 7, Shanghai Shenhua team bid farewell to Shanghai, embarked on a journey to Dalian. Upon arrival, the team settled into the designated hotel of the Chinese Super League Dalian Region at the Dalian People's Youth Training Base that night, and began the "10 + 7" days of medical isolation observation.

On the evening of May 17th, all the players accepted the nucleic acid test at the residence, and the test results showed that all the players were qualified. Subsequently, the match area notified Shenhua Club that the team could start training from the following day. However, according to the epidemic prevention regulations, the team still needs to carry out another 7 days of independent isolation in the premises.

It is reported that the Shenhua team started their first training session at 10:00am on the 18th at the stadium inside the Dalian People's Youth Training Base. As the first team to arrive in the new Chinese Super League season, Shenhua was also honored to be the first team to start training in the region.

A total of 32 players participated in this training. Given that the team has not played a live game for more than 10 days, the training on the 18th was mainly focused on recovery and the overall length was not very long.

According to the plan, the new Chinese Super League season will kick off on June 3rd. This means that Shenhua's team will have two full weeks to prepare for the match before it starts.
