Under the decision-making of the National Football Association and the Preparatory Group of the Chinese Football League, the programs of the new season of the Chinese Super League and the Chinese First League are scheduled to be launched in May (the starting time of the two leagues is expected to be one week apart), while the starting time of the Chinese Second League is relatively delayed. At present, preparations for the start of the leagues are in full swing, with the selection of referees for the three-tier professional league having been successfully completed. In the near future, the National Football Association will send a notice to all local member associations about the training of referees for the third-level professional league.
Manning (name)
Affected by the epidemic, referees who are qualified to enforce the law in the new season of the Chinese Super League, the Chinese First League and the Chinese Second League (replacement and recruitment candidates) will receive business training from April 24 to 28 through online. Among them, a total of 90 Chinese Super League referees (46 referees and 44 assistant referees) will receive training. Currently, international-level referees Ma Ning and Fu Ming, international-level assistant referees Cao Yi and Shi Xiang, who are currently enforcing the AFC West Asia Region tournament in Saudi Arabia, are participating in this training. The purpose of the referee department of the National Football Association in setting replacement and recruiting referee candidates for all levels of leagues is to promote healthy competition within the referee team of professional leagues.
As usual, the National Football Association (NFA) organized referee training before the opening of the new professional league season. Affected by the epidemic, the Association and the preparatory team of the CFA have not yet determined the specific opening time of the new season of the three-tier professional league. However, judging from the progress of the detailed preparatory work, it is more likely that the Chinese Super League and the Chinese First League will start in May. In this case, the referee department of the National Football Association recently launched a pre-match training program for referees of all levels of professional leagues.
According to the plan, referees (including assistant referees) and referee supervisors participating in the enforcement of the new season of the three-tier professional league should receive training from April 24th to 28th. Affected by the epidemic and in order to prevent large-scale activities and gatherings of referees nationwide, this training will be conducted remotely online.
A total of 429 people received this training. Among them, 33, 46 and 44 were supervisors, referees and assistant referees of Chinese Super League; 29 supervisors, 50 referees and 47 assistant referees of Chinese First League; and 50 supervisors, 130 referees and assistant referees of Chinese Second League.
Comparatively speaking, the selection of referees in the Chinese Super League has attracted much attention. It is reported, including Ma Ning, Fu Ming, Wang Di, Shen Yinhao, Tang Shunqi, Jin Jingyuan, Zhang Lei 7 active international referees, including all the registered international referees (including international assistant referees) are to participate in this training. Ma Ning, Fu Ming, Cao Yi and Shi Xiang will attend the training in addition to law enforcement and training, despite the fact that they are now in Saudi Arabia to enforce the AFC Champions League and are expected to take part in the final stage of the World Cup in Qatar.
Considering the various practical situations, the National Football Association (NFA) will probably not hire foreign referees to enforce the law in China in the new season. Due to the expansion of the Chinese Super League in the new season, there will be more demand for national referees to enforce the law, and the referees will have to shoulder heavier responsibilities. They need to show a level of enforcement that meets the requirements of the top professional league.
It is worth noting that the referees of professional leagues at all levels who participated in the training, and even the supervisory lineup of referees of the Central League A and Central League B also contained some replacement candidates or recruitment candidates respectively.
Taking the list of Chinese Super League referees as an example, among the 46 selected referees, there are two replacements and four recruited referees. The so-called "recruitment" is actually an alternative for the referees set by the CFA refereeing department for each level of matches with reference to the AFC's method of selecting referees. Specifically for the domestic professional league referee selection, the referees "recruited" by the Chinese Super League are actually the referees who have outstanding performance in the past season in the Chinese First League, and then become the alternative referees for the new season of the Chinese Super League. The young referee from Chengdu, Tang Shunqi, has followed such a trajectory in the domestic law enforcement arena until he was promoted to international referee this year.
The establishment of "replacement and recruitment" referees actually constitutes a spur to the majority of referees who have already obtained the official qualification of enforcement in the Chinese Super League, pushing them to keep learning and making progress, and refusing to stagnate at the business level. In other words, if a referee who has obtained the qualification for enforcing the law in a higher level league frequently makes major mistakes or omissions in the enforcement work of this level league, he may be "demoted", and the replacement or recruited referee will take his place. This will also promote the mobility of referees in each league, strengthen the elimination of winners and losers, and encourage more young referees to make progress.
It is understood that the "teacher power" to participate in this training is also very strong. A total of nine people as a training instructor, they are Niu Huijun (female), Zhang Lingling (female), Huan Rancheng, Zhang Lei (big), Fan Qi, Feng Wenqiang, Yao Qing, Liu Qingwei, Li Dongnan. Most of them are former international referees or international assistant referees.
