On April 6, Beijing time, a heavy news came: the Chinese Football Association (CFA) announced the access notice for the new season of the three-level league on April 3, formally confirming the access qualification of 18 Super League clubs, 17 China League 1 clubs and 22 China League 2 clubs. However, Guizhou China League 1 club failed to meet the AFC's access conditions and failed to solve the problem of salary arrears overdue, and finally lost the access qualification for this season; Sichuan Minzu Football Club also lost the access qualification because it failed to submit the information within the stipulated time.

The CFF has issued the confirmation letter to all clubs and asked them to return the confirmation letter to the CFF before April 11th. At that time, CFF will announce the list of participating teams for the new season.

Despite the completion of access to the third tier, the final roster is still subject to change as the Hebei team in the Chinese Super League has yet to respond to the training schedule and the Qingdao team in the Central League is likely to forfeit this season's Central League.

In response, Li Xuan, a well-known soccer commentator, revealed what he has learned: recently, he has observed the fluctuations and conditions of individual teams. He emphasized that the three-tier league access list in the CFA's notice on the work related to the 2022 season's Chinese Super League, Chinese First League and Chinese Second League released on April 3 only represents that these teams have the will to participate and basic establishment, as well as meet the basic requirements of the AFC, but it does not mean that they have fully qualified for the new season.

This time some of the teams with salary arrears are "conditional access", but also need to confirm the participation, and according to the time point specified in the notice to submit the salary arrears solution and salary arrears summary; the B clubs are also required to pay the notice mentioned in the B League deposit.

In other words, the teams currently on the list are only qualified to submit further information. If they fail in the subsequent review, or if the S.B. clubs are unable to pay the deposit, they may still lose their eligibility for the new season.
