Shandong Taishan's South Korean midfielder Son Junho has managed to extend his contract until 2026, and surprisingly, his salary has remained unchanged despite the rumors, sources revealed.
Recently, Southampton of the English Premier League and Fulham of the English Championship have both shown great interest in Sun Junho, with Fulham even going so far as to inquire about the details of his contract and transfer fee. An official with knowledge of the Chinese Super League (CSL) revealed that Sun Junhao had reached an agreement with Shandong Taishan to extend his contract after the AFC Cup final in January, with a new three-year contract and a stable salary package.
Sun Junho's old contract with Shandong Taishan will expire in December 2023, while his new one will run until 2026.
