It has been officially announced the signing of 17-year-old striker Jimmy Morgan, who will join the Chelsea youth team. Jimmy Morgan was born in 2006 and has played 13 games for Southampton's U21 youth team this season, scoring six goals and adding five assists. He was also selected to play for the U17s, scoring three goals in three appearances.
According to previous Novo sources, Morgan joined Chelsea for a total fee of nearly €6 million. Fraser, the club's head of youth training, said, "We have signed a player with good development potential for the ladder, he is a striker who can excite and it is great that he has chosen Chelsea as the team to play for in the next important stage of his career."
