As the two-week winter break came to an end, the Grasshopper soccer team had its assembly moment on January 5, and under the wise guidance of Head Coach Giorgio Contini, the team is poised and ready to take on the challenges of the second half of the season.
To ensure the health and safety of the team, more than 40 first team players and staff members were tested for the nucleic acid of the new coronavirus. Regrettably, the test results showed that three players were positive, and they have been placed under self-isolation in accordance with the regulations.
After the winter training, Grasshoppers will have their first match of the second half of the season on January 30th, against a strong Sion team. We wish Grasshoppers all the best for the second half of the season and hope that they will have a smooth journey in a schedule full of uncertainties!
