In response to the disciplinary infractions committed by Cangzhou Lions players Sangol and Liao Chengjian, the following are the disciplinary notices from the organizing committees of the tournaments and the soccer clubs:
In the 123rd match of the 16th round of the Chinese Football Association Super League on December 15, 2021, Cangzhou Lions and Shanghai Shenhua competed fiercely at the Jiangyin Sports Center.
After the referee's report, competition supervision report, video information, statements of the parties involved and hearing investigation, it was found that after the game, Cangzhou Lions No. 28 player Sangol hit the same team No. 19 player Liao Chengjian's face, while Liao Chengjian kicked Sangol violently as a counterattack, and eventually both were sentenced to a red card.
The Disciplinary Committee of the Chinese Football Association (CFA) imposes the following penalties in accordance with Article 53 of the Disciplinary Principles of the CFA:
I. Suspend Cangzhou Lions No. 28 player Sangol for three games and impose a fine of RMB 30,000 yuan;
Second, suspend Cangzhou Lions No. 19 player Liao Chengjian for three games and impose a fine of RMB 30,000 yuan.
In accordance with Article 17 of the Disciplinary Principles of the Chinese Football Association, the above penalties shall be enforced immediately from the date of publication.
