Q: With the burden of relegation on your shoulders, what valuable lessons can you share?

A: First of all, I believe that the confidence of the players is the key to winning, as long as they believe in themselves, nothing is impossible. Furthermore, teamwork is crucial and we need to work together so that the problems can be solved.

Q: You have had a widely acclaimed coaching career.

A: I have always been a hard worker, love offensive soccer, and strive to outperform my opponents on every play. In addition, I am committed to creating a positive team atmosphere and inspiring my players to reach their potential. When I see the players giving their best in training and in matches, I know I have done my job. Of course, there is an element of luck in soccer, but I feel that as long as we give our best, good luck will come.

Q: What are some of the challenges the team is currently facing and what kind of team do you expect to build?

A: We have room for improvement on all fronts, especially the backline, where a solid defense is the foundation of the offense. Although it takes a lot of effort to revamp the team, the first priority is to strengthen the backline, and I firmly believe that we can do better. With the league resuming soon, we still have a month to get ready.

Q: What do you think about the current Chinese soccer?

A: Global leagues have been affected by the epidemic and the most important thing now is to safeguard public health, which our government has worked very hard to do. The epidemic has led to huge changes in soccer, with our national team having to travel to West Asia for home matches, which is a big challenge for everyone. I hope that the epidemic will end soon and that things will get back on track.
