Mr. Shang Qing, who was a coach of Shaanxi Chang'an Athletic Football Club, sadly left us in the late afternoon of November 1, 2021 at the age of 54 due to the deterioration of lung cancer.
Looking back, those glorious years are still fresh in our minds.Born in Shenyang in 1967, Mr. Shang Qing was an outstanding representative of the National Junior, National Youth and National Second Team. In his brilliant career, Mr. Shang Qing was not only the captain of Shaanxi GuoLi team and helped the team to be promoted to the A League, but also served as the head coach and assistant coach of Shaanxi GuoLi team, etc. In 2018, he joined hands with Zhao Changhong and other coaches, and led Shaanxi DaQinZhiWei team to win countless brilliant victories. As a player, he is able to ride the green grass and win for the team; as a coach, he is able to strategize and lead the team forward; and off the field, he is a Shaanxi soccer legend with high moral character and full of righteousness.
