In the early hours of Nov. 1, Li Xuan, a soccer writer, kicked off a storm of discussion on the topic of unpaid wages in the Chinese Super League in her social sphere. She sharply pointed out that if the Chinese Super League continues to be in such a situation, the number of children who will join soccer in the future will decrease day by day.
Li Xuan is outspoken in the article:
If decision-makers in the FA take wage arrears for granted and even facilitate defaulting clubs, claiming that it is for the sake of maintaining the stability of the league, the future of the industry is worrying. What's more, some people think that players were well paid in the past and do not deserve any sympathy for being owed wages nowadays. May I ask, which parent would want to send their children into an industry where wage arrears are rampant?!
It would be a great gift to the soccer community if the problem of unpaid wages in the league could be completely eradicated in 2012!
