On October 19th, Li Tie, a famous footballer, launched an in-depth discussion on the current situation and future of personal and Chinese men's football in an exclusive interview.

Speaking about Li Tie himself, former Italy international Cannavaro was blunt: "The problem is not with Li Tie, and that's not a fair statement. Li Tie has been selecting players for the team, and in recent years he has faced the difficult challenge of finding a direction. Players such as Luo Guofu and Alan may be able to make a difference to the team, but what about the long term?"

Reviewing the situation of Chinese soccer in recent years, Li Tie said, "I think compared to 2017, Chinese soccer seems to be stagnant. I feel very sorry for the development of Chinese soccer. In my opinion, Chinese soccer has great potential with a huge population base and a strong foundation for developing high-level athletes. However, it requires sustained investment and the joint efforts of several generations."

On the topic of China's men's soccer team entering the World Cup, Li Tie confessed, "Entering the World Cup is not an easy task, it takes time and effort. But obviously, we have chosen the fastest path of development."
