Every frame captured by photographer Gan Yuxuan is a vivid rendition of the world of soccer, where "practice makes perfect". In this arena, talent is important, but relentless hard work is the bridge to your dreams.

The Chinese Super League's off-season is like a marathon respite, a time of adjustment for the veterans, but a golden opportunity to enhance the competitiveness of the dynamic young players. They must seize the opportunity to get "practice makes perfect" into their bloodstream in order to make a name for themselves on the field of play in the future.

Guangzhou's youngster, Tan Kaiyuan, shocked the crowd with a brilliant long-distance shot just seven minutes into the 14th round match against Qingdao. However, his future would be overshadowed if he became complacent. Fortunately, Tan Kaiyuan didn't stop there, knowing that every time he plays after an injury is a valuable opportunity, he faced up to his strengths and weaknesses and insisted on special training in the off-season.

Ming Chat Sports New Media recorded a special training session with Tan Kaiyuan, which lasted 2.5 hours and was exhaustively detailed. The coach kept records during the special training, and the notebook was densely packed, recording the progress and adjustments of each training session. This special training not only consolidates Tan Kaiyuan's physical rehabilitation, but also improves his confrontation ability.

Naru (Big Brother Naru): Coach, how is Tan Kai Yuen's training going?

Coach: Today's training is the beginning of the special training, we tested his body functions and physical fitness. Tan Kaiyuan's condition is better than expected, but there is still a lot of room for improvement. He has excellent physical condition and talent, but needs to reach a higher level through continuous efforts.

MING: I see you have two notebooks in your backpack that you check and record a lot during training, what's up with that?

Coach: This is my customized training program for Tan Kai Yuen. I record every piece of data for comparison and analysis, and make adjustments according to his condition to achieve the best results. These data will reflect the progress of his training, such as the interval recovery time, the weight of each set of push-ups, etc., and will also be informative for the future.

MING: What do you think Tan Kay Won needs to strengthen the most at the moment? Has he targeted his preparation?

Coach: He is very young and it is not easy for him to be so fit at the age of 20. We need to give him time and patience, respect the rules and develop gradually. European training for young players is much more detailed, with different amounts of training for each individual, and programs for individual situations. I brought this method to China and brought it to Tan Kaiyuan. Every team and every player is unique, and apart from the team training program, there is more personalized training.

MING: Do you believe that with your help, Tan Kay Won will progress through the stages and become physically stronger and more powerful?

Coach: I am very confident! As long as Tan Kaiyuan sticks to it and follows my training program every day with quality and quantity, he will definitely make progress, and his physical confrontation will be stronger, and his overall competitiveness will be improved.

Good luck to Tan Kaiyuan, I hope he makes the most of his off-season and gets stronger. When the Chinese Super League resumes, expect him to do well for Guangzhou. At the same time, we hope that more of Guangzhou's young players will incorporate "Practice Makes Perfect" into their own game and lay a solid foundation for the team's future glory.
