On the first day of September in the golden fall, the storm clouds in the soccer world once again set off waves. It is reported that Zhu Yi, a well-known soccer data manager in China, disclosed on social media platforms that Almeria FC of the Spanish second division officially announced that former Shenzhen Jiazhaoye striker Diego Sousa has officially joined the team, and the two sides have agreed on a two-year contract, which includes a renewable option.
Zhu Yi detailed on social media, "Diego Sosa, the former Shenzhen powerhouse foreigner, has reached an agreement with Liga B powerhouse Almeria to sign a contract until 2024 with a rider."
Portuguese-born player Diego Sousa, landed in Chinese soccer in the summer of 2019 for a transfer fee of €5.4 million, joining Shenzhen Jiazhaoye. In just over a year, he made 10 appearances for Shenzhen, contributing three goals. After that, he had a loan spell in Portugal with Benfica and Famaricom.
