Kasai previously revealed that he expects to return to China in October, when he will witness Guangzhou's journey in the new AFC Cup season. The tournament is reportedly set to kick off in September, and Guangzhou will adopt a strategy of mixing youth and first team players in a bid to make another success of the cup in the new season.
