In the light of the breaking dawn, a competition for life quietly unfolded. In the group stage of the European Cup, Denmark was in the middle of a match against Finland, when suddenly, Danish player Eriksen lost consciousness and fell to the ground. Medical personnel quickly stepped forward, emergency implementation of CPR, and the use of AED equipment for defibrillation. In the crowd's nervous attention, Eriksen was quickly lifted off the field, fortunately, after sending medical treatment, he has been out of life-threatening. In this life-and-death match, AED equipment played a crucial role. In recent years, AEDs have become the standard equipment for Chinese Super League teams.

In a desperate attempt to avoid a repeat of the tragedy on the green pitch, FIFA issued an urgent notice to all member associations in 2014 recommending that men's and women's national teams, club teams and teams at all levels be equipped with AEDs.In December 2017, the 2018 Working Salon Access Regulations were officially released, which included the provision of AEDs as one of the access criteria. The regulations specify that the stadiums declared by clubs applying for access must be equipped with AEDs, as well as the club's training base.In addition, clubs must appoint a medical director, and there must be a team doctor for the first-team squad and teams at all levels. Both the medical director and the team doctor must have medical qualifications recognized by the national health department. For the medical security services of contracted players, the working salon access also puts forward clear requirements, that is, all players must be provided with perfect medical security services, and the annual physical examination of all registered players must include cardiovascular examination.

In fact, before AEDs were included in the working salon access protocols, the CSC had already equipped clubs with AEDs and trained club medical staff, making AEDs standard equipment for national teams at all levels.

At the end of 2017, CFA and Beijing Xicheng District Red Cross jointly organized training on emergency rescue techniques, with CPR and AED use becoming the focus of the training.

At the beginning of June this year, the CFA issued a notice requesting member associations to organize first aid training for youth coaches so that they can start rescue in time and reduce safety risks in case of emergencies.
