This decision stems from the friendly and in-depth consultation between the two sides, Shenzhen Football Club officially announced that from now on, the famous Spanish coach Jose Carlos Granero will be honored to be the head coach of the Shenzhen team.
Granero, born on May 27, 1963 on the Iberian Peninsula, had a brilliant playing career with Valencia FC and played for several top teams in Spain, before hanging up his boots in 1994 and moving into coaching.
As a coach, Carlos Granero not only possesses UEFA PRO level (the highest level) coaching qualification, but also has coached well-known teams such as Levante and Alaves, and has repeatedly helped his team break through and succeed in advancing to the next level by virtue of his excellent tactical vision and clinical commanding ability.
In 2017, Granero set foot on Chinese soil and began his coaching career in Chinese soccer, and quickly earned the respect of fans with his unique coaching style and outstanding record.
