According to insiders, Kim's contract with Guoan will come to an end in December this year. Juventus are expected to quickly finalize the transfer with Guoan this summer, and plan to send Kim to Sassuolo on loan first. However, there is another possibility brewing. Kim may choose to stay at Guoan until the end of his contract, at which point he will officially join the club as a free agent the following January.
