With the drums about to beat for the new Chinese Super League season, there are only two weeks left before the opening match, but there are still more than 20 foreign aiders who have yet to return to the team, including such well-known players as Paulinho, Talisca, Augusto and Moises. Even if they leave immediately, according to China's strict immigration policy, it will be difficult for them to arrive at the battlefield before the first match of the league.

In this season's Chinese Super League (CSL), the CFA has decided not to use the "Balanced Maintenance Clause for Foreign Aid" from last season. This change has forced many teams to prepare for the lack of foreign aid in advance.

Last season, due to the global epidemic, many foreign aiders failed to return to the team on time. In order to balance the rigor of the rules and the fairness of the game, the CFA introduced the "Foreign Aid Equalization Maintenance Clause". The clause stipulates that if a team does not have any foreign aid enrollment in a match, then the opponent can only send a maximum of two foreign aiders, and so on. However, this clause has been removed this season, and the new Chinese Super League will allow five foreign aiders to be registered for each match, with a maximum of four foreign aiders on the field at the same time.

Brazilian players account for 14 of the currently unreturned Chinese Super League (CSL) foreign aiders, involving eight clubs. They are Guangzhou's Paulinho and Talisca, Beijing Guoan's Augusto and Fernando, Shandong Taishan's Moises and Guedes, Chongqing Liangjiang Athletic's Cirino and Marcinho, Henan Songshan Dragons' Ivo and Karanga, Tianjin Zimmen Tigers' Suarez, Dalian Ren's Jaenisson and Wuhan's Raphael and Baptiste Don.

It is widely believed that the absence of the "violent bird" on the Guangzhou team can not be underestimated.

For the Guangzhou, Guoan and Shandong teams aiming to win the Chinese Super League title, the absence of these core foreign aid will have a greater impact on the team. Among them, Paulinho is regarded as the absolute core of the Guangzhou team, and some voices even believe that the lack of Paulinho's Guangzhou team's strength may decline by a grade. As for the importance of Augusto to the national security team, is no need to say more. In contrast, this season, Shandong team in the midfield introduced Sun Zhunhao and Xu Xin two local strong generals, the degree of reliance on Moises has been reduced. However, in the front line, the absence of Gedes on the Shandong team's offense is still a huge blow, from the team's warm-up matches can be glimpsed in the "front powerless" problem.

In stark contrast to Guangzhou, Guoan and Shandong, whose core foreign aid players have been slow to return, Shanghai Harbor and Shanghai Shenhua have relatively complete foreign aid lineups. For these two Shanghai teams, which also harbor dreams of competing for the title, they may be able to benefit from this in the early stages of the league.
