Transfer talks between Manchester United and Juventus for Dutch striker Zylkiser are in full swing. According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, United have agreed in principle to loan out Zirker, but with a mandatory buyout clause. Meanwhile, Juventus are favoring a pure loan or an option to buy out.
New Juventus manager Juan Motta has high expectations for Zirkser, who has successfully tapped into his potential while coaching Bologna. Now, Motta is hoping that the Dutch striker will breathe new life into Juventus' forward line. However, the transfer deal is far from straightforward, with Manchester United's loan agreement the only compromise Juventus have made.
After an unexpected exit in the Italian Super Cup, the pace of Juventus' negotiations seems to have accelerated. With star striker Milik out of action due to injury, all the pressure on the team's offense has fallen on Vlahovic. Despite his impressive performance at the beginning of the season, Juventus still urgently needs to add a striker to distract Vlahovic's attacking pressure.
Zirkezer's tactical adaptability fits perfectly into Motta's system and he is a winger with organizational skills. Juventus' sporting director Gontoli has already been involved in the matter, and Zielkirchner's agent, Kia Zurabuchin, has also played a key role in the negotiations. The two sides have reached a preliminary agreement, and Kierkegaard himself is eager to return to the Italian game.
However, Juventus face the same challenge on the defensive end with Danilo's imminent departure and Bremer and Kaval out for long periods due to injuries. As a result, they have limited funds in the transfer window and prefer to invest money in the defender position. In the attacking line, Juventus can only consider bringing in Zilkzer on loan.
For their part, Manchester United originally rejected Juventus' purely loan offer, but made concessions during negotiations. They have now agreed to a loan deal for Zirker Zee, but insist on a mandatory buyout clause being included. Juventus, on the other hand, want to keep the loan pure or include an option to buy out clause to defer the cost of bringing in the striker.
Despite the rapport between the two clubs, no direct contact has been made. Juventus are also eyeing other targets such as Paris Saint-Germain's Mouani, Leverkusen's Schick and Napoli's Raspadoli. But Zylkiser is undoubtedly one of Juventus' top targets for reinforcements.
