On the eve of the upcoming Euro opener, Albania's skipper Silvinho has boldly predicted that the tournament will put an unprecedented psychological weight on rivals Italy. He asserted that despite Albania's rocky qualifying campaign, the team is ready to go all out on the Euro stage.

Silvinho further pointed out that Italy, as a traditional powerhouse in soccer, has traditionally been competitive. He cited Brazil's opening draw with Switzerland in the 2018 World Cup as an example, warning Italy that a failure in the first match would make the subsequent journey even more rugged.

However, Silvinho also confessed that Albania, though not as heavy as Italy, is feeling the tension of the tournament. He revealed that the team is in good health and the players are fully committed in training.

Talking about his personal coaching career, Silvinho recalled his time in Italy, especially as an assistant coach of Inter Milan, which he found very rewarding and praised the tactical philosophy of Italian soccer.

With the Euro bells about to ring, Silvinho and his Albanian team are ready to go, eager to prove themselves on the field and take on the likes of Italy.
