In the just-concluded 18th round of the Chinese Super League, the official list of players' running distance was unveiled. Chengdu Rongcheng's midfielder Zhou Dingyang topped the list with an amazing 12,383.43 meters, followed by teammate Hu Huotao, who came in second with 11,833.97 meters.
It is interesting to note that the difference in distance run between the second and fifth places on this edition of the running list is negligible. Beijing Guoan's foreign player Guga (Gonzalo) is on the list in third place, while Cangzhou Lions' Zhukov is right behind him in fourth place. Notably, in fifth place is Zim Tigers' foreign player Kong Panio, who is also the only forward player in the top five on this edition of the list.
The unveiling of this list not only demonstrates the players' fighting spirit on the field, but also reflects the fierce competition in the Chinese Super League.
