At dawn, Beijing time, the 20th round of the Premier League will be lit again, Arsenal away to face Brighton. On the eve of the battle, Arsenal's skipper Arteta received an in-depth interview on Sky Sports, talking about his insights on the team's struggle for supremacy, the gains and losses of the past seasons, the reinforcement strategy after Saka's injury as well as the growth trajectory of the new star Nwaneri, among other topics.

Faced with the question of how to win the title, Arteta confessed, "Our ambition is to maintain the status quo, to win every match at our best and to show a high level of performance. We have to concentrate on the things we can control every day, such as the quality of our training and our attitude to the game. The fact that the likes of Liverpool have been in the lead and failed to do so is a reminder that there are no guarantees in the Premier League. We are still halfway through the season and with a long journey ahead of us, we must give our best for every game."

Referring to the lessons of previous seasons, Arteta couldn't help but lament, "We could always have been further ahead in every way. Statistically, we should have had two Premier League trophies, but the reality is something else. This has galvanized us with a stronger fighting spirit, desire and passion for excellence. I believe we can do better in every detail, so let's keep pushing forward and strive for excellence."

Responding to the question of whether Saka will seek new recruits in the winter transfer window after recovering from his injury, Arteta said, "We will decide whether to bring in strong recruits based on the needs of the team and the dynamics of the transfer market. Of course, we have the opportunity to improve the strength of the team and bring in influential players. But more importantly, we need to fully utilize the potential of our current players and improve their performance."

Speaking about Nwaneri's stunning performance against Brentford, Arteta spoke highly of his performance: "Nwaneri's performance on the field was exceptional, he possesses exceptional strength, insight and unique personality. He trains hard and prepares well, and his teammates trust him. Most importantly, we can't just focus on his age, but also see his strength and potential. When a player has such qualities, he needs an opportunity and he deserves it. Nwaneri is fearless on the field, eager to be in the spotlight and constantly creating chances. I'm sure he'll be able to create more in the future."
